it was a very messed up looking red. i want my car to be orange so i kind of just picked up a color and painted the engine bay. i didnt use clearcoat, the paint just appears this way. the car used to be this color, it is like that on the inside of the doors. any suggestions on the color for the outside? i was thinking the 2004 nissan orange, i believe off of a 350z.

btw - i know i can use a swap, i actually have two just no time to install. plus i want ot sell this widebody civic. it bugs the crap out of me, i cant sleep peacefuly at night thinking someone might jack it

I think the color you have it painted now looks fine. Personally i don't like the Le Mans Sunset color from Nissan, but if you like it, go for it.

the orange on the honda element is nice. i wish i painted my car that colour but i painted it 350z blue instead.

I would suggest you get the color that you like, in this case Le Mans Sunset. If you listen to me otherwise, you're going to end up with a black or white colored car.

All that yellow car needs is a red dohc :D
I hate orange cars, more of a black or blue person, but everybody's got their own thing. Just make sure it's something you won't get tired of in a few years.

Ricochet, i got a red dohc and a yellow dohc. but this car is for sale. i wanna get rid of it as soon as i paint it. i dont think that ill make as much money if i swap the motor. i can sell the swap for 2500 and the car for at least 6500. if i do the swap i dont know if i can sell it for 8000. anyway, i dont got papers for one of my motors. i didnt steal it and i dont know if it ever was stolen. anyway when i bought my red hatch i got it with the swap in there.

Burnt orange looks good on jdm'ish Hondas like Kicker's car.

That's a nice shade of orange, although they ruined that Civic with the stripes. As long as your car doesn't come out looking like it was dipped in butterscotch it should be ok.

i believe in PPG products only. but it was a good deal, waste of perfectly good civic though. ugle rims and stripes but anyway by the time i got to the site the bidding was over:(
