Re: Hard water spots!!!
Try fine steel wool with glass cleaner, not Armor All junk. Stoner glass cleaner works great for cleaning. If the steel wool don't work, try glass polish! http://www.topoftheline.com/tolae/glasspolish.html

Re: Hard water spots!!!
dont use fine steel wool , I did that for years and it just makes fine scratches. I just rewash the car and chamoise the windows right away so that dont happen again. If you dont feel like doing that then try some rubbing compound it dont scratch and cleans the windows at the same time just use a very dry cloth.

Re: Hard water spots!!!
yup squeegees work great too , just watch the metal edge that holds the blade , that could make big big scratches.

I also have hard water what I do is as soon as I am done washing ( I allway make sure the car is wet and there is no dry spots from the sun evaporating the water) get a good chammy and wipe it down you'll never have water spots again.

Re: Hard water spots!!!
That new Mr. Clean car wash thingy actually works really good to keep water spots off your car. Spots are caused by impurities in the water. This thing has a filter on it to keep that from happening. I use it on my bike and my black car.

Re: Hard water spots!!!
There is a glass cleaner called SprayWay that is really good for a lot of different things. I use a can of that with a microfiber towel and it works great for me.
