Question 97 Blazer Headlights

I have a 1997 blazer with composite headlights. I was wondering if anyone knew how to change them for sealed beam?

Re: 97 Blazer Headlights

I own a 97 2dr and I bought a conversion kit from Autozone for like $39.99 that changed my sealed beams over to projections. The kit is only for lens's replacment, you will have to buy new bulbs plus wire up a H-4 socket for new lights, the sealed beam conecter is a 3 prong male coneter that is bent alittle so you can't use the after-market H-4 input that the projection kit comes with. The main problem with doing this conversion is that if you want to buy nice new bright lights for you dimmly light Blazer like I did your factory wireing will not produce enough power for your lights to funtion and you will end up with headlights that you cant infact even see with unless you redo all your wires like I am in the process of dooing as you read this if you can call my cell and I will tell you all the problems I have had and what I did to fix them so you dont pull your hair out like I wanted to. (607)857-5498 Verizon cell phone so if you have versizon it will be free. I have done lots of upgrades to my S-DIME Blazer for off-road so I may have info in other areas if you need it. I hardly ever get on the net but I will try to look back on here once a week if I can to see if you responded incase you can't call.

Thanks

Thanks for the help. I haven't done the conversion yet, but I'm working towards it.

I really appreciate it.
