several probs since 5-30-04 no start engine cranks turn key to off then retry starts ok then occasional stall now no start no idiot lights on dash radio windows etc work no codes set when idiot lights come on it willl start wiggle tested all wires no changes checked spark no spark when no start fuel pump is running i think it may be ign switch had broken wire on shift consol interlock per tech 2 months ago ign switch is stock item at auto zone for 97 so i got it so i am ready to try and replace it any thoughts tnx in advance berniescout

Have you found the problem? Was it the ign switch? If so, was it a problem to install? My 97 started doing this exact thing about 4 or 5 days ago. Like you said, "wiggle the column up/down and the Dum-lites come on and it cranks. I'm just waiting on the time it doesn't :( HELP please ) brenthdavis@cox.net

have not done it yet may go to where i bought it from what i have read it is not to hard to do many posts on this problem search the site for "ignition switch" to get directions i will repost when finished for the record 96 97 98 all use different ignition switches i hope there were no midyear production changes!!

What should the front suspension look like? Yea, i'm off the electrical short subject. I was installing brake pads and noticed that the "GUESSING" sway-bar conection to the swing-arm has a hell of a gap, Almost like something is missing. Have you heard anything about the front ends on these 97 falling apart? I really can't complain, $4,700 cash and it has a brand-new from factory engine. Insurance replaced it. Anyway, have a good one. Oh yea, is the any kits for customizing the interior??

all fixed used car dealer did it for zip i supplied the switch now it starts no problem
