Hi all, I recently purchased a 96 Sebring Convertible JX. I am looking to buy a remote (keyless) for this vehicle---my question is can anyone tell me how may buttons are on a remote for this particular vehicle? Also if anyone knows is there a trunk release on the remote. I have looked at an auction site but can not seem to clearly define what type of remote I need. Thanks for any help on this.

I have a 97 and my remote has 4 buttons on it. lock, unlock, trunk, and a panic button. Hope that helps.

My '96 Sebring remote has no trunk release.

The OEM remote for my '96 Sebring has only two buttons -- lock and unlock. Pressing them both at the same time for 3 seconds sounds the panic alarm. Unfortunately, there is no trunk release button.
