I'm looking at a 1996 passat GLX with an electrical problem. The car stalls occasionally while turning and hitting a bump. Also seems to stall
when the weather changes? Any Ideas?

the symptoms make it sound like a short in the ignition somewhere. This sounds the most logical to me, but it could be any number of things. Have it checked out by a local import shop.

Have you noticed any other electrical components going off at the same time? If so, try jiggling the key in the ignition switch and putting some pressure to the start & off positions to see of it's related. Can you hear if the fuel pump changes pitch, there may be something blocking the fuel lines in the tank. Otherwise you may be in for a difficult time finding an electrical short somewhere.
