i was thinking of getting a set for my 99 tacoma.
the color of the truck is oak. what color would go
good with oak. red or orange?

I've never heard of an Oak colored truck....are you talkin' bout the inside?

no thats the name of the color thats on my '99
in the owners manual it says color : oak then
has the paint code. anyways its like a light
metallic gold.

I have the same color and year. In Calif. they are illegal not too many have them on while driving but I have seen them on cars. I guess its only illegal if your caught. Id say go with the Red lights

i put a set of green neons under my 2wd 4cly tacoma and it looks wicked nice, they hide up under the body real well, i think the red would look real nice under your truck.

Yah, any color besides amber is illegal to be showing from the back of a vehicle on the road if you are caught with it while driving. If you go with the orange, it might actualyl pass though depending on the color of orange that you go with. Also depends if the cop wants to be a douche or not... heh.

i got an orange set, they aint bright orange, just
orange. i passed two cops and they didnt pull me.
i do know that blue and red are definatly illeagle here in kentucky.
