'92 warm start problemsMalloy 05-27-2004, 01:19 AM Anyone have a clue as to why my V-6 auto won't start with a warm engine? It starts fine in the morning, but won't start again until it cools down. When it's warm, all I get when I turn the key is one click from the relay and that's it. The starter's fairly new and sounds fine in the morning, the battery is new, and I cleaned and reattached all connections from the relay to the starter. Any thoughts? Thanks splashiod 05-27-2004, 11:01 AM My guess would be a relay getting hot & sticking open/closed. If battery, starter are new thats about the only thing left. sorry couldn't offer much help. Good Luck!! 97chevyman 05-31-2004, 11:43 AM sounds like a bad starter to me. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
