Question F-250 Driver Door needs alignment

I recently obtained a 1986 F-250. It has a couple of problems I would like to fix for they are a issue of inconvenience.

1) The driver door when open drops down slightly, and inorder to shut it I must open the window, and hold the exterior door handle up, and slam hard or the door will not shut. How would I fix this?

2) I discovered that the back of the bed, when opening the latch, the right latch will not open. I have to leave it open or rig a wire to have it mostly shut. How might I fix this.

Any information towards my repairing this would be most appreciated.
