ScotchGuard

Can you scotchguard the velour seats in a '04 Jetta without compromising the material? I haven't seen this discussed anywhere and was wondering the pros/cons.

they use a similar compound at the dealerships, I can't see how it could hurt. First, try it on a small piece where you can't see it.
