AFAIK the 4000GT project has been scrapped. Not enough interest due to the high price and cost to manufacture.

I doubt they will hand the project over to Lexus. Toyota is trying to appeal to younger buyers now (echo, new camry, celica), and Toyota is also the one taking risks with radical designs like the aforementioned. Besides, toyota has the racing division, so most of the development will be with them. It wouldn't surprise me, though, if they slapped a Lexus label on it to make more money:bandit:

Look @ the Camry & ES 300, both are mostly the same models...but lexus has their name on it and charge a HELL-OF-A-LOT-MORE
