Will a 2.0 tranny fit in a 1.8

Just wandering if anyone knew if a 2.0 tranny (5-speed) will work in a 1.8. The 1.8 has 105 lbs. of torque and the 2.0 has 125. I would like to get more torque

lmfao the amount of torque is because of the engine not the transmission. the 2 has more torque because its a bigger engine.
