my buddy is lookin for a cold air intake for his 99 spyder gs but we can't find anyone that makes em...anyone got any tips?

Really though, there are quite a few manufacturers that make intakes for the 2g n/t... AEM and Injen are quite popular. I think that B.S. that you "couldn't find any", cause they are all over the place. If I were you I'd take scottsee's advice.

alright boys and girls, dont mean to be an ass here but check this out, ive hit up almost every site like AEM and injen and all the applications for intake specifically say "No Spyder". maybe i am retarded but i can at least read. so in light of this new evidence, the question still stands...who makes one specifically for a spyder?

i know there are tons and tons of 2g n/t intakes. ive got a gs and i had no problems finding one, the problem is finding one thatll work for a spyder, i dont know if the engine set up is the same as another model so maybe thats what the confusion is all about here

well your problem lies in your question then.. becasue when you say spyder gs, that means for some crazy reasion they dont have a turbo in their car, making it VEARY easy to find a CAI. what you should have posted, was we are trying to find a CAI for my friends spyder gs-t. then i would tell you they dont make one, and you need to get a k&n fips, or short ram intake, from greddy, or injen

CAI into turbo?... never seen a setup like that.. I have seen my friend run his turbo with no filter though... that fool.

tasha is right... it is really hard to find a CAI for the N/T spyder just because it does not have the 420a... the Throttle body is on the same side as a turbo car! everything in the car the same way as a GST or a GSX except there is no turbo... kinda like the N/T 1st gens although they were DOHC and a 2.0L motor and the N/T spyder is a 2.4L SOHC motor... and Scott try to be a little less of an ass! i can understand that people should search before they post and i am all for that but when she said she did and you were still an ass thats not really called for... if you know a way she could find a CAI setup help her of dont post if you dont know! there will be no more bashing in this thread or it will be closed! if you feel you need to explain yourself go ahead but if the bashing continues its over!

see thats where your wrong... so why post when your wrong or dont know!?! its not easy to find CAI for a N/T spyder...
