Angry After Service - loat all oil - car died - TDI

I took my 2003 Jetta in for 15,000 mile service and oil change. 1/2 hour after leaving the car just died. I restarted it and it died. One more time and it died. I had it towed to the dealer, and as it was being put on the truck I noticed oil draining onto the truck from my car.

QUESTIONS:

1)What should I demand from the dealer to ensure me that I will not have future problems as a result of this incident?

2)Does the Jetta TDI have a safety system that caused the enging to shut down after the oil was gone?
