Pre-Paid Legal Services (www.prepaidlegal.com/info/carolynpatterson) Speeding Ticket Central (www.speedingticketcentral.com) Andydg 05-24-2004, 09:49 AM Sometimes all you have to do is show up. Around here cops never show up in court over speeding tickets unless you were going 15 or more over the posted speed limit. The judge then just dismisses everything and you're on your merry way. CarSuperfreak 05-24-2004, 10:01 AM I know it differs by state, I know here in MI, they passed a law which lets them simply screw you over. Basically, it doesn't matter what happens. once the tickets are on your liscence, they don't come off. period. they can no longer dismiss the tickets (at least not in the piddily circuit court hearing you have with the magistrate. I'm sure you can go higher if you were wrongly ticketed, but all Ive tried to do is get out of it, but I got screwed) Igovert500 05-24-2004, 12:17 PM www.beatmyspeedingticket.com 93rollaracer 05-24-2004, 09:06 PM Sometimes all you have to do is show up.
