OH speeding ticket

one of my friends got a ticket...not sure on the details yet, but what are some of those sites that have info on beating the ticket in court?

Sometimes all you have to do is show up. Around here cops never show up in court over speeding tickets unless you were going 15 or more over the posted speed limit. The judge then just dismisses everything and you're on your merry way.

I know it differs by state, I know here in MI, they passed a law which lets them simply screw you over. Basically, it doesn't matter what happens. once the tickets are on your liscence, they don't come off. period. they can no longer dismiss the tickets (at least not in the piddily circuit court hearing you have with the magistrate. I'm sure you can go higher if you were wrongly ticketed, but all Ive tried to do is get out of it, but I got screwed)

heh...i was thinking that at first but she was doing 80 in a 60 so that probably wouldn't work...plus the cops in the city she got busted in are pricks
