what year? At the tank end, usually integrated with fuel pump assy inside tank, and expensive cause you replace all. Dashboard end usually requires some diassembly and circuit board replacement. (would trust a junkyard part for that...cheaper than above) Get a manual and find all wiring connectors and verify mechanically and electrically (cheapest...and you'll need it for any of the above)

You're welcome...GM and many others have been doing things that way for some time. My daughter's 96 is probably not much different from your 2K in those respects.
