Computer Chips

Has anyone put a performance chip in an expedition and if so would you recommend it?

Re: Computer Chips

There's no such thing as a "free lunch".
Performance "chips" are usually "robbing Peter to pay Paul". The very best "chip" will improve your Expedition's performance very little, if at all. We hear all of the "hype" regarding "chips" and gadgets to increase performance and gas mileage, they've all been thoroughly tested, repeatedly. If the manufacturer even thought one of them would help, even a little bit, they would have installed it long before you or anybody else ever saw one.

Even though I did hear of one such gadget working fantastically. They later discovered the guy who was selling it was sneaking up at night, adding fuel to the customer's gas tank, to "prove" it worked.
