850 Glt???

Is the 850 GLT non-turbo fast at all? I am looking to buy a 93' 5 SPD 850 GLT, and I want at least a little speed. What does GLT stand for? Anyone???

The 850 Glt is a fine car for cruising, lots of comfort and much room. compared to other european cars) The one I own is a 1992 850 GLT. It has 160 hp. With automatic gear. However its not very heavy (about 1300 kg). If you want to perform decent starts ... Switch to sport and kick the right pedal. The car won't catch traction for about 10m.
Well its not a race car but it has enough power to have fun. The car has a good form for for bodypaintings, would look great with a manga job at the side..

If you buy one you won't regret.
