Freeze Plugs Leaking

OK 1 month after i get the car now with 38000 miles on it, i flushed the coolant but kept smelling coolant. Well i looked on the driver side and see something that looks like freeze plugs and it looks a little wet.
Anyone have any suggestion on my next step.

Re: Freeze Plugs Leaking

Not sure what freeze plugs are but the description you tell of sounds like a heater core leak to me.

well, if its on the driverside, it could also be brake fluid.

Uhh ohhhh... leaky freeze plugs are a big problem. Somebody let it get too cold one winter night. About the only way to fix it is to get a new one. You will destory the old plug getting it out, so theres really no way to reseal it without getting a new one.
