Could anyone tell me where is the thermostat located for 95 passat vr6?
Is it located where the bottom radiator hose joins the engine or on the radiator upper hose where it connects to the engine?

It's located between 2 plastic pieces, one of which is connected to the engine. The only way to get to the thermostat is to remove both pieces and unbolt the 2 pieces from each other off the car.
