Does anyone have a prefference on what gas they use and from what company, also octane levels. I only go to Chevron to get the Techron additive in the gas, also use only mid-grade. What do you guys use?

87 in the civc and always did in the neon as well

I dont really have a preference but try to stay away from arco....i got a bad tank of gas with them and my srt started to mis-fire....

I've always used 87, mostly from Chevron or Unocal (union 76). Arco or Thrifty only in emergencies. I just make sure to use a fuel system cleaner every 2 months or so.

87 is fine for the sohc neon, but you need 89 or better for the dohc. Putting higher octane in a car that does not need it will not give any performance increase. because octane is simply resistance to detonation.
