Question Coolant flush. 635CSI 1986.

Need to change a coolant, not sure how to do it. Can someone explain where to start ect. or link me to the site possibly with pics b/c I already found many of them and couldn't understand what the hell they were talking about. Thanks.

step #1 is to remove the drain screw from the radiator below the lower hose, that will drain alot.

step #2 is to remove the drain plug [19mm hex] from the right side of the engine block, towards the rear and 'behind' the rear exhaust manifold.

step #3 is to refill the system with a 50/50 mix through the reservior. do this slowly, engine off, with the BLEEDER screw on top of the thermostat housing nnice and loose. when coolant begins dribbling out close the BLEEDER and fill the tank to the line. start the engine, turn the front defroster on with temp @ max hot and 'gently' rev the engine to expell any air still trapped in the system. once you feel hot air from the heater your close to finished. drive the car fairly hard a couple of times arround the block, LET IT COOL, then top it off if needed....................have fun.................jb.
