Annonying Bloody Sound!

Okay.

I have a R33GTS-t.

Boosting to about the line inbetween the 0 and +7 on the factory boost meter...feels like its boosting strong but, maybe 10, 11's. Got good boost meter now, waiting for rain to stop to fit it.

The car feels perfect, strong and hard.

BUT, there is a slight whistling sound, which I think is coming from around the fliter or turbo area of the car, it only happens at low revs and gets drowned out when passing 2-3 000revs. Kind of sounds like a hair dry from the other side of the house...best way I can describe it.

Anyone with ideas ? I know a bit about cars, but i'm still learning, I kind of ruled out the turbo...Water Pump ? small hole air leak ?

It very annoying and I'd hate to try and forget about it and have it become a major thing.

fuel pump coming from there??? I also have this tiny whistling sound coming from the pod filter area, but i think its BOV noise, when its just opening or something like that.
Im sure the fuel pump is right at the back of the car.

Well, I'm a little deaf in one ear from racing karts...but anyhow after the rain in Sydney stopped I had a chance to listen without backround noise..buzzing coming from just above the drivers side rear wheel.

A friend assures me its normal and its the pump turning on...paranioda setting in...

That's your fuel pump :) if you look inside your boot, behind the front boot trim panel (remove plastic clips x 4) you'll see the f/pump access panel on the right.

If You Have A High Flow Filter You Will Hear The Turbo Spool Up But If You Have A Blitz Bov It May Be That///they Suffer From Weak Springs/// What You Dont Want Is A Dump To Early If You Know What I Mean
