Hi all,

I've got a 2004 Passat sedan and there's a CD stuck in the CD player. It may have been inserted upside down (I don't know; my passenger inserted it). Anyway, when I press the CD button, the display sez "No Disc" and nothign happens when I press the Eject button.

Does anyone know whether there's a key combination that will force the CD to eject whatever's in there? Or, barring that, is there anyother way anyone can recommend for getting a CD out of the player?

All CD players I've seen have a mechanical eject trigger. To open, turn off the car engine and remove the key. Straighten the large loop of a heavy-duty paper clip. Look for a *very* small hole on the face of the CD door (a bright flashlight is helpful here). Insert the straight part of the paper clip slowly. The door should release.
