99 Escort power Give me your opinion. Will this work.

I had a thought of somthing fun to try. Check this out. I have been reading about this nos N-Tercooler crap and i had a thought. If you have an intercooler mounted to the front of your car, (non turbo car), and attach the N-Tercooler as specified in the directions supplied. Then attach an E-RAM to the intake and the out put of the inter cooler. Fit the cone filter at the intake side of the intercooler and have pipe made to connect to the cta-motorsports intake. so the dia gram will go as such, cone air filter---custom pipe---E-RAM---intercooler w/ N-Tercooler attached---E-RAM---custom pipe---cta-motorsports intake. The N-tercooler cools the intercooler, when activated, bringing the inside temp to sub freezing temps. Thus making a high flow cold air intake that wont suck up water. What do you think. Give me your expert or non-expert opinions. Will this give me any gains in hp or not. Shoot.

Is there too much piping going on for a non-turbo setup.

Sounds kool, but sound to me like you would some kind of induction to force the air through all of that....i.e. turbo

I would think you would actually lose power because of too much restriction. Air needs to be forced through the ducts.

some type of small turbo to at least force the air through everything, maybe even a high flow 'lectric fan in there somewhere (oki turbo)...

Oki Thought!!...Use your air-conditioner for cooling the air, and just reroute it to go to your intake instead of your vents...thoughts?

WOW thats whacked. But its a good idea non the less. Just too much cash for little HP. In theory, little HP gain if its non force induction, but I could be wrong you know. If youre a rich kid, go for it. I want to see proven results. I have always wondered if a intercooler can double for a radiator. Kinda like that ford thing on the F150 of air-conditioning/intercooler dealy. I dont kno.
