i've heard people bitching about gas prices(who doesn't these days) and i totally agree... they're getting rediculous.. it's what.. like 2.15 per gallon down there? somethin around that? sure that sounds bad.. until you come up to where i live.. here it's 90.5 cents per liter.. convert that to gallons.. that's just under $4 a gallon!!! the worst part is.. we all have to pay for it... just had to get that out... i want to break something every time i look at the price towers:banghead:

wow, thats bad...even for premium I haven't paid more than $1.97 a gallon yet...if it gets over $2 I might have to get another job.

You think that is bad i filled up with premium yesterday and it was almost $50.00 to fill up in calgary,ab. I could have filled up with $35.00 before. They take out the oil/gas from this province then send it elsewhere to get refined and they bone us with huge price "taxes" on fuel. Lame. In Venezula it is 5 cents a litre. harsh.

I had to fill up last week and the premium was at $2.16/gallon. It jumped bad. Before that, I hadn't spent over $2/gallon.

It is getting harsh down here in fl. For sure our average is high as far as I can tell, as a whole but today on the way to work!, I Pulled up to a pump that did not have a single grade below 2.08 that put SUPER at 2.28 a gal. in Delray beach. The idea if using that toulene as an octane booster sounds better with every fill (5 gal af super + 3 gal of toulene = approx 99 octane @ a net price of 2.36 a gal.) especially with a turbo

that $4 per gallon, is that in Canadian dollars or U.S. Dollars? I calculated 90.5 per liter is about $3.50 per gallon. If that was Canadian Dollars converted to U.S. Dollars it would be about $2.50 per gallon. I live in Cali and the premium here is just about that price... so not horrible really.

93 octane 71 cents (US$)

Thats is per liter.

Yeah it is snowing here but the streets are clear so i can drive my car. It is 83 cents/litre for regular and $1.09 for premium now. What the hell is going on?? And to top it all off, Alberta has the highest insurance rates also. We get the shaft from both ends here.

Here in Chicago, the gas station near where i work is charging $2.27/gallon for 87. Drive a couple miles over to my house, and it's a bit cheaper at $2.09/gallon. 91 will cost you $2.53/gallon.

I got lucky, recently found a gas station right over the NC/SC state line charging 1.87 for 93 octane, still cost me freakin 29.50 to fill up though

Sweet, Kelowna is bad ass. I go snowboarding up at big white all the time. In fact half the people I know from my little po dunk town go up there every year, fun shit! but ya gas sucks, that is about the same as it is down here in Wa. I pay $2.60 for premium. Which canadian is a bit cheaper than what you pay I believe. I have heard roumer that premium is supposed to be like $3.50 U.S. in the next couple of months.

yeah, i heard that the gas here is around $4.00 per gallon going through all the conversion stuff.. i'm too lazy to do it myself so i'll just take their word for it...

Um, on average it's about $1.95 to about $2.04 here in Rhode Island.

Visiting my GF one day this past week, I stopped by Ludlow, MA Gas Station on the freeway and it was $2.14 a gallon on regular... I was like fock that- took off after a 5 dolla fill = a little over 2 gallon... Made it home with the gas light flashing!

F*ck these gas prices ... here in jax. fl . its 2.00 for regular and 2.12 for premium , and thats the lowest prices that ive found here ... shit needs to drop again quick !! Ive been riding on E quite a bit ...

97 cents canadian a liter here. My mom filled up the other day and it cost her 73 something. I also looked at this sticker on the gas thing while i filled it up for her and it showed how much the gas station makes from gas. Only 3 percent of the gas they sell they get money from. The government gets 43percent :eek7: . Its messed up

I'm not going to complain. It costs me $30.00 to fill my 18-gallon tank on 88 octane. Once I get the GTC it will only get 91 octane or higher. Problem is that, you can't go without it; then again I am not having problems making ends meet so filling up my tank isn't a problem. It gets empty and I fill it back up.

You think you have it bad, move to Europe. That is why diesel engines are so prominent out there. Petrol is just too damn expensive.

$2.15 / gallon for 93 octane here in Atlanta. It hasn't been that bad really.... sucks but at least it's not as bad as other places.

interesting...well america gets oil cheaper than most western countries and although im gonna get a lot of sh!t for saying this but i think that gas prices are too low.... Im in NY and gas prices here are up to 2.50 a gallon but a liter of water is almost two bucks. a few months ago i could fill up for 1.50 and at that time water was more expensive than gas! there's just something wrong with that. If we paid 4 bucks a gallon maybe we'd get some of these godamn suv's off our streets. Can anyone think of a reason ppl are driving excursions and h1's! in the city?

the hybrid's are really selling right now although they're still not worth it and unless gas prices top 4 bucks they wont be

i say lower gas prices, ban suv's and trucks on main roads unless towing, hauling or taking a load of dirt or something.. there's just no need to have big ass trucks driving around on our streets.. as an example..
no more than 5 months ago, a professor from one of the local colleges was driving home after a hard day's work.. when a 2003 ford f150 lost control in the lane headding the opposite way lost control, hit the median and came flying over the barrier, landing on the driver's side of the minivan, instantly chrushing and killing the young professor.
her husband and two young children now have to live without their mother/wife because of something that in my opinion should not have been on the road in the first place. had it been a car or even a minivan, the most that would have happened is the vehicle would have rode along the barrier, and slowed traffic up for a while. but because it was a truck, 3 people are living their lives forever changed
