What mods are available for an Intrepid

I've actually got a '01 Chrysler Concorde LXi with the 3.2 L. I love the car, but would like it to go faster. Any mods besides a K&N air filter?

Well it all depends on how much money you want to spend and how much faster you want to go. After all you are only getting about 2-5HP gain with that K&N filter at the most. I bet you can even feel a difference with it in.

Thumbs up

Here's a free mod for the 93-97 Intrepid / LHS crowd with the 3.5 liter V-6. Take the intake hose off of the air cleaner box (the one between the box and intake plenum) and pull the air silencer horn out of the hose. It's about mid way up the hose and can be a bitch to get out, but it's worth it. this horn is supposed to keep things quiet in the passenger cabin, but the increased noise level is minimal. You will notice the hole in the horn is about half the size of the hose. I did this mod myself on the 96 Intrepid I used to own and could tell a difference in both performance and highway fuel economy (provided you can keep your foot off the floorboard! lol). You will definately notice it when you kick it in passing gear! I never did the K&N filter swap, but it would seem that would help out even more. Hope this helps!

I can believe it, oh yeah, don't forget exhaust now. You can gain Up to 15HP by adding a performance muffler. That is noticable HP.
