Yep it is.. I remember that Nissan made an official announcement about their plans to sell R35 GT-R to the US.

Re: Skyline is coming to the States

now, i don't know that its a rumor but....since the new skylines are coming out in the U.S. that means that they have been crash tested with all the goody data...so im wondering why can't we bring a used skyline over here........if the new skylines are coming out in here....why cant we bring the older ones here......( god bless the rb26dett) cause i heard that they are not using the rb motors in the r35's........who wants a skyline without a rb26dett??!!! its like peanut butter with no jelly

Re: Skyline is coming to the States

HAHAHA BULLLLLLSHIT! WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU RETARDS GET THIS SHIT?!

there is no such thing as the r35. your dumb firefighter. sorry but its true. im in a bad mood and you guys are getting the butt of this. the skyline v35 is available in the US re-badged as the infiniti g35. theyve been here since 03. they are the exact same car...the g and v 35's. they are now using v6 vq35 engines...as opposed to the inline-6 used in the rb series. and firefighter....the 25det has tons of potential. its a powerful motor. the GT-R model of the g35 will be released somewhere between 07 and 09.

The new Skyline/G35 is a completely different model. The crash test data would not apply.

The previous Skylines are not US legal. The current one is sold in US-legal form as the Infiniti G35.

The Skylines got along just fine for the 30+ years before the RB-series first appeared. They'll do okay now, too.
