Gas Pedal Tension Adjustment ...
I purchased a 2002 Sebring LX (new) about a year ago and never really had any problems with it. Recently it seems as if my gas pedal is getting flimsier and flimsier.
Under my foot, the pedal just seems to wobble around.. It's not very stable at all. This causes the sebring to bounce alot in motion, and makes for terrible stop-and-go driving.
Just to make it a bit easier for you to see whats wrong, imagine being at a complete stop, pushing the gas and it hits too hard, the car jumps forward, ease your foot off the gas, it jumps back, and so on.. and so on..
I was wondering if there was any easy way to adjust the tension of the gas pedal. I know that I could adjust the throttle (in the engine --coming from the pedal) but I'm hoping theres a more efficient way of fixing this problem.
