Removing engine cover

This is probably a stupid question
But how do I remove the black engine cover on '00 rodeo

Release the brake booster vacuum hose out of it's clip on the rear of the cover, then just yank the engine cover up. It's held in place by 4 rubber grommets (one at each corner) that seat on studs sticking up from the upper intake. Dab the inside of the grommets with silicone grease to make removal and installation a snap!

Heh I actually got it as soon as I posted this
I used to try to pull it out (toward the front)
I just pulled it up and it came off lol
