Re: Quarter mile time for 98 camry?
Speed is just an indicator of how much time and money you want to spend. It is not an indicator of the quality of a car.

Go to the library and look up an old edition of Motor Trend.

Re: Quarter mile time for 98 camry?
I have a '99 and mine is pretty quick. I haven't really done all that much to it either, pretty much stock. According to most of the people around here it's one of the fastest 4 cylinders around these parts...I want to go and put it on the dyno sometime...

Re: Quarter mile time for 98 camry?
Here's a clue - In another thread, a turbocharged 2.2 L ran high 14s.

Yeah, I should get that high-flow cat added to that list...might as well get once since I just got the muffler not too long ago. lol
