Unhappy 1995 Chevy Cavalier

Having troble taking off an old fuel filter from my car.
How do I plug the one end off and what do I use to do it with

'K, To relieve the fuel pressure so ya's don't git sprayed-start the car and remove the fuel pump fuse with the car running-the engine will die in a couple seconds and then there's no pressure in the lines.
On the inlet end there's a nut ya gotta loosen. Put a backup wrench on the nut built into the filter so ya got something to pull against so you don't twist the fuel line.
The outlet end just has two tabs to push and the filter just unplugs.
Then just remove the filter clamp bolt that holds it to the car.
You don't need to plug anything.
Heh. Remember to put your fuel pump fuse back after yer done
