Hey all, I jsut got my Cardomain page to work...finally! Here's a link to my site... www.cardomain.com/id/mxmasta
Give me some suggestions or just let me know what you think...It doesn't have to be good! Your criticism is helpful!

Re: Here's my car...give me some feedback!

I'm afraid to get those...I've heard that installing them is really hard, and if you screw up a little bit, then you can screw up your whole instrument cluster. That and I would then want to change the color of all the lights on the AC and the clock, and the other buttons. But thanks for your feed back. do you have a website?

Re: Here's my car...give me some feedback!

well the ones I got were like the ones off Cork Sport. They are pretty easy to install. and they just slide over the needles. it's just a little tedious not too difficult. wiring is just a little tricky. it uses the Indigo blue given off by the guages and it has orange background lites. and no I don't have a website.. wish I did, but since I have no pics of my car it's kinda hard.

the guages are blue/ green, you can switch. I have been messing around with the 2 brighness levels. when it's switched to green it glows green and blue, the numbers and letters which are blue in the day are still blue at night but the rest which can light up blue can also light up green. and i've turned down the background lights so their still used just for parkin lights and brights... when it's on green it matchs really nice. the only thing I know you can't change is the clock I haven't checked on how to change the rest but there is probably a way.

I've never been to a drag strip...with my car. I've gone with my friend and his car. But the best races happen on the streets...when you least expect it.

And yes...I am endangering lives, but no one elses but my own. I have taken driving classes from BMW, teaching me how to recover from a spinout at over 100 mph...I have taken accident avoidance classes from BMW, as well as precision driving classes from them as well. I think that if anyone is qualified to street race, I would be one of them....

I'm not meaning to brag, but when I race, I race coolheaded, and intelligently. If anyone elses life, besides my own, is on the line, and it is beyond my abilities to make safe, then I don't race.

Re: Here's my car...give me some feedback!

I get your point firefly, but you also have to understand that there are also pedestrians on the roads, kids playing, possibly even road workers working that you may not know about. YES, I street race on occasion, but I never claim for it to be safe, in fact it is stupid. Things happen too fast when you race.

I am a street racer, and I too take caution while doing so, but there are still dangers that lurk and that remain unknown until the last second. No matter how much precautions you take, it is still dangerous. But its FUN

Re: Here's my car...give me some feedback!

the best way to Street race IMO requires a good # of people and a 2 lane road with no roads connecting to it for a good distance. set up guys at both ends with radio, so drivers can be warned when on comming cars are comming. also the best places to race are where there are no pedrestrians to worry about, wharehouse districts, and back roads are the best 2 places to race. for safety reasons Wharehouse districts are the best.
