I have an carbed 1987 Honda Civic 1.5l (D15A2) that I am in the process of a putting a D16A1 dohc head on. I want to put some higher compression pistons in the car and found those ZC pistons that fit the 88-00 D (???) series motors. Will those work with my stock D15A2. My problem is I need to raise the compression but I don't want to mill the head. If I do that I will have to get cam gears to get the timing right and the are like $120 apiece. I think I can buy those pistons for around $180 or so.
