I mean isnt it though? What is the point getting a Type R engine just to lower the compression to run boost. Or buying a type R to put a turbo on it? Ive seen actuall people buy a LS INtegra take out the engine drop in a C5 and put in low compression crap to run a turbo.

What is the point of this post? Yes, it is foolish in some ways to swap from an LS to an ITR, but it isn't in other ways. The ITR motor is much better balanced than the LS from the factory, it will make a ton more power with the vtec head, bigger cams, tranny is a lot better than LS for turbo, you get an LSD, etc, etc.
