Driver seat looks dirty from long time of use? Anyone know any effective product to clean it? Thanks.

Re: How to clean seat?
With the very stubborn stains that wouldn't come out of my upholstry in my '99, we used "Goop" hand cleaner, which is also used for removing stains, and it worked very well. Much better and cheaper than spray-on cleaners.

Re: How to clean seat?
I had a dealer show me how to use 3M Gum and Adhesive Remover on my velour upholstery about 20 years ago. I have been using it ever since. I make sure I wipe it only with a clean, white towel and never touch the stuff to any vinyl or leather trim. Use it on the velour only. It works great and doesn't harm the color.

Yeah Joe, I bet it is just one of those things that not many think about. It works really well, I've even removed the seats and carpets in my Camry and shampooed them, and there were still stains left behind, but if I used the goop, it worked really, really good. It's amazing, and cost-effective.

Re: How to clean seat?
I rented a steam cleaner and used a mix of upholstery cleaner and pet spot remover to clean my seats and the carpet. Although this cost more than the other options posted here, I got great results. My seats looked brand new after it was done.

Re: How to clean seat?
I uae the Bissell Little Green Machine for several years with good results... On heavy soiled seat or carpets it will take 5 or more cleanings when the dirt or coffee or whatever is in the foam... One cleaning & let dry, the dirt in the foam will bleed back up to the seat covers & streak... Just keep after it & you will really have CLEAN seats in the end....

Re: How to clean seat?
I used the spray on cleaner i got from WalMart. And it looks good after only one cleaning. But i just don't see how i can use it on my dirty carpet.

Re: How to clean seat?
Goop is an industrial quality hand cleaner and stain remover.
