i have an 03 sxt, still stock, i haven't done anything with it yet, there's not a thing wrong with it, the engine, stock has 132hp i believe, i'm wondering, should i keep the engine i have and just strip the bitch down and go apeshit on that, or should i just swap an srt-4 engine and upgrade on that...i'm a big car nut, so I think goin apeshit on my current engine would be more fun, but then i start thinkin about the lifetime of it after that...cuz i'm guessin that engine wasn't initially designed for top end performance and racing...i have about 5g's to spend on the engine alone, i'm just wondering what all i can do...i gotta friend that can do pretty much anything with the block, i'm just wanna know what i should put on it...thanx fer ya'lls suggestions!

swapping in an srt isn't worth it, just trade you car in for one if your going that route.

but for about $600 chill factory sells a turbo kit that includes the turbo, components and intercooler, and engine kit including complete top and bottom end rebuild. Thats the direction I would take.

if you can afford the srt, do it, do it, haha. but anywho, just make sure you make your own footsteps, dont do what someone else did
