Lightbulb How much can I haul?

I was wondering what the max weight is I can put in the bed of my 2000 Silverado ext. cab SB? I have a 4.8 V8. I havent made any modifications to the engin. Anyone know?

Nigel, I believe the way to figure it out is to go to a scale & weigh your truck. Then on the Drivers side door jam your GVW is listed. Just deduct the weight of your truck from this & that should be the allowable hauling weight available. If i'm not correct on this I'm sure someone will say so soon LOL.
