This is 'way newer than any of my vehicles, but if both switches aren't working and you are sure there is power, the most likely candidate is the "interlock" (I think). It's the switch that tells the system the tailgate isn't really closed and so it won't power the motor. It is also possible the wires to the motor have come loose (this isn't likely). On many tailgates, you can remove the inside access panel with the gate closed and check for power, etc. If there is power and the motor is hooked up, you can take the two wires (a two-wire plug) off the interlock and jumper the wires together. If it is a bad interlock, you can now operate the window in any position which will enable you to break it into 9,437 pieces if you forget and operate it at the wrong time. So beware.
Of course your lift motor may have died. Not cheap, but not a bank-breaker if you replace it yourself. Good luck. CB
