Recently I installed a shift kit and it shifts crisp and clean and I can rev higher in the band. Totally awesom 1-2nd shift. Here's the problem I'm having. I punch the throttle at a light and it goes like a bat out of hell until it reaches 35 mph then it bogs down when it shifts into final Drive. Feels like a turd floating down the river. :grinno: I used to do a 0-60 in 10.56 seconds now I'm at 16.17 seconds because of this. Got beat by a Hyundai Accent of all cars the other day. :eek7: The other day I was following this old guy to work going 40 in a 65, imagine the frustration, when I decided to pass him, I go WOT and I slowly climb the speedo takes about 5 seconds to get to 45 mph. Needless to say I had to follow his arse all the way to work :banghead: Car will downshift at around 35 mph and below like it always did and kicks hard, this is good. Car won't downshift at anything over 35 mph when in final Drive. I've adjusted throttle pressure cable and the kickdown bands with no positive results. Anyone have any suggestions why my ATX will not downshift and why it bogs after it shifts into final gear? :banghead:

yeah swap in a mtx, unless you go turbo you atx will always be slower then a mtx neon with half the mods you have.

If your near CT I have all the parts needed to swap a neon $300 w/o clutch or $500 with a centerforce clutch

I spend 99% of my time on the org, what replies are you talking about? face it, you DONT hook up an ATX car, its pointless.

I disagree, hooking up an ATX isn't pointless, don't ATX have more low end torque? Adding a pulley and valve body is a huge improvement, still not stick but cheaper and easier than the MTX swap and still gives good results...You should check out the XtremeNeons.com forums, someone there should be able to help, tell them who sent you, my name is the same there, good luck...
