Unhappy Tow Bar and reversing sensors

Hi
I have jsut purchased a Ghia X estate.
However, I am having problems fitting a tow bar.
The reversing senosrs seem to pick up the bar all the time.
I do not want to turn the sensors off all the time

Any idea's

Re: Tow Bar and reversing sensors

When I plug in the trailer wiring, the rear parking sensor turn off. When I use the towbar mounted bike rack for the mountain bikes, I plug in a dummy trailer light plug to turn the parking radar off.

Sensor range

Parking sensor has a range as the diagram shows. You simply can't block it. If you do, the alarm will be triggered. You can turn off the sound and ignore the display of your parking radar. As Consumer Reports suggested, you may add a rear view camera. So you can see what's behind all the time with sensors on or off.

the only way is to fit a detachable towbar,or try and move the electrics so they fit under the vehicle attatched where the towbar neck is attatched.the reversing sensors dont allways detect the tow ball.

Exclamation Re: Tow Bar and reversing sensors

The idea taken for the concern is very serious and need a noticed of every one. This is the concern, which exists in the society and needs to be eradicated from the society as soon as probable.

parking sensor
However, fast-evolving mobile technology is on the threshold of turning dashpot mobile equipment into full-duplex multimedia gadgetry on the strength of fast-growing broadband infrastructure, including widely expanding Imax networks worldwide. In view of a wide gap in product cycles of motor vehicles and vehicle electronics, vehicle gadget manufacturers have been focused on aftermarket. But there is an increasing tendency toward wayward or haphazard 'dashtop sprawl' of electronic vehicle gadgetry, with growing indications that convergence into an all-in-one dashtop mobile device is an ultimate destination.
