Have owned this car for 8 years. 3.0 engine. 90k miles on it now. recently found oil in lower breather filters. changed pcv valve, althought i'm sure the one previously installed was ok. still have problem. also own a 1993 w/150k miles 3.3 engine never had this problem. any suggestions greatly appreciated. usually thats a bad sign and suggested that you are getting alot of blow by from the pistion rings I would give a compression or even a leak down tests and see if you find anything

I'll borrow my neighbor's gauge for a compression check. The van doesn't use a drop of oil between oil changes and absolutely no sign of the dreaded blue exhaust so hopefully it's not blow-by. HJ

Check your pcv valve to see of it is plugged. Air flow from your valve cover, or engine is also rooted to your air cleaner I believe.
