GnD AM starting problem

I have done everything but burn the car down.
I recently rebuilt the head on the 2.3L Quad 4.

When I had all put back together it would not start.

I replaced the Crank Sensor, checked the Coil - OK.

There is no spark when I turn it over and I have not been able to successfully test the injectors. The injector test lights do not blink, or even turn on. So no injectors and no spark, What could be causing this.
My book says to send to a dealer to service as a last resort.

Could it be the ECM?

Any suggestions please respond.

Re: GnD AM starting problem

Sorry, I can't help YOU, but maybe you can help ME.
You said you replaced the Crank Sensor. How?
My problem: replaced starter, broke Crank Sensor in place---can't remove second1/2 of piece. It's like wedged in place. Any ideas ?

Re: GnD AM starting problem

Same thing happened to me. That is why I know the Sensor is ok.
I was able to pick out most of it with a pick, I also had to use needle nose to get the main magnetic cylinder out. I feel that spraying WD40 on the broken pieces helped out alot. I sprayed it down, left to get some replacement parts and when I got back started in on the needle nose and picks.

If you don't have the Intake off, it would be easier to do.
I also had a problem with the new sensor not fitting because of the starter. I had to carfully take out the bolts in the back plate of the starter to make room for the sensor.
