im working on my best friend's mother's 96 grandam with the 2.4 in it. i replaced the radiator and all cooling lines and tranny cooling lines (rad blew a hole in it and the trans cooling lines were all rusted and one was leaking) i put some water in it and i noticed i have another leak. outlet side of the radiator (i am gussing its the one on the driver's side) going to the block, there is a housing that reads thermostat located at waterpump... what is that? the gasket on whatever that part is called is leaking. i want to know the name so i can order it . is it the inlet housing? i never have seen such a thing on a car where the thermostat is not in that housing... odd. anyway.. TIA!
