What wax do you use?KRS62 04-08-2004, 10:31 PM I've always used Maguires in the past...what do you guys use/suggest?? KRS Vroom2 04-27-2004, 01:29 AM Big fan of Meguiars, but just started using Four Star stuff from premiumautocare.com. Absolutely the finest stuff I've ever used. I HIGHLY recommend it. Take care, Jerry rzkz8k 04-27-2004, 11:10 AM I use a pure carnauba wax. It doesn't last much longer that 4 or 5 weeks but it sure gives depth and shine. I like waxing, gives me an excuse for a beer or two when I'm done. denalio34ceo 04-29-2004, 04:21 PM Been using these guys for about 17 years. http://www.beautyshine.com Not all their products are online as they concentrate in the wholesale market. Vroom2 05-01-2004, 01:37 AM Hey...I know that guy. :) It's great to see familiar folks - that makes four of us SUV Worlders I've seen thus far. Cool! 010175 06-18-2004, 02:06 PM go to web-cars.com for auto detailing info. JTsai1 06-18-2004, 09:58 PM hey thanks for the info guys, very useful btw, what do you guys use for leather upholstery? denalio34ceo 06-21-2004, 10:35 AM Lexol cleaner followed by Lexol conditioner. Vroom2 06-21-2004, 04:30 PM Ditto. I used to use Meguiar's Gold Class. Definitely a good product, but I've fallen in love with Lexol. Take care, Jerry zutoo 06-28-2004, 01:18 AM I've always used Mothers... Leaves a nice smooth deep shine. Lexol is definetly the way to go on leather. BLU CIVIC 06-28-2004, 01:23 AM meguiars gold clss combo'ed with mothers back to black for trim TweakedGM 07-11-2004, 05:20 AM polish not wax that's all I have to say. Mother's or meguiars or eagle. nitenrustinarmor 07-21-2004, 07:46 PM well im using meguires 3 step system curently and its pretty damn good alot of work tho wax on wax off 3 times one for each step but id have to say Black Magic works wonders looks like a mirror when im done on my 2002 yukon and my 94 explorer with original paint still shines like new SNKBITE 10-03-2004, 11:00 PM I use Zaino brothers car polish. Its excellent! Vroom2 10-04-2004, 05:22 PM Polish is great - just keep in mind that if you're not waxing or sealing afterward, you're doing absolutely nothing to protect your paint. The Meguair's three-step (and Mothers equivalent) is a great product for the money. You can get some feedback on more premium brands and experiment to see which you like. I've seen the results of Zaino and Klasse, and have been very, very impressed. For the money, I'm totally sold on Four Star paint care products, but there are many, many great ones out there. Take care, Jerry DucksZ 10-04-2004, 10:47 PM I use Zaino Brothers products. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
