Blower (fan) only works on high

I have a 96 voyager and yesterday, when I turned the heat down one notch from high, it turned off. It only works at the highest setting. I saw one other person post this, but he never got a response.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'm either cooking or frozen! ha ha!

Smile Blower (fan) only works on high: solution

This just happened to me last month. The blower fan speeds are controlled through a resistor block that is mounted in the engine compartment on the top of the firewall on the passenger side. There
is a connector going to it with 4 wires. It is very easy to replace(just two screws) and only cost $12 for a new one. Be carefull to inspect the connector and clean the contacts if possible. One of the contacts on mine melted part of the connector and I also had to replace it. Only the first three speeds go through the resistor block. The top speed is full power to the fan. Hope this helps.
