A question for members about commercial sitesSchludwiller 05-03-2001, 11:00 PM I have been asked by some commercial sites regarding membership to the Xterra Offroad Webring. The ones that don't have any products related to offroading I have turned down immediately. However, a few sites that carry offroad equipment have asked about possible membership. Does anyone care about commercial sites being in the webring as long as they provide products used by the offroading community? Or would you rather keep it strictly to Xterra owners and their excursions? Any comments are welcome. -Schlud ChuckH 05-04-2001, 03:34 AM I would only include those companies who have something useful to offer the Xterra community and who are reputable. In other words, no KMA's of the world please! wqbang 05-04-2001, 10:33 AM I would have no problem as long as they provide products for the specifically for the Xterra. General accessories that just happen to fit the Xterra don't count. Companies like SLR, Calmini, EOE, Skid Row, and AC come to mind. Also Xterraparts would qualify as they carry some offroad gear. DPGoffroad, while a great company, would not qualify in this case. Companies like 4x4connection are the problem in this scenario. They do carry an Xterra Specific ARB bullbar, but is that enough to be admited to the Xterra Offroad webring? Synchro 05-04-2001, 03:43 PM at the same time i shop at 4x4connection all the time. i got my hi-lift there, shackles, straps and all that kind of stuff. they are the ones that are going to install my locker whenever i get that. doesn't bother me either way, but i just wanted to mention that. wqbang 05-04-2001, 04:09 PM My point exactly. At what point would the line be drawn? Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
