Do you guys have any complaints or praise of the new Horizontal6? I think its about time they introduce a larger engine. Has anyone tried to fit one in a 2.5rs?

No Actually the STX is a 4 cylinder 2.5 liter SOHC "Enzo same engine as my moms car" boxer engine... BUT!!! the STX has some mods like.
1. Eaton Supercharger
2. Subaru B4 Intercooler
The ST-X produces a powerful 230 horsepower @ 5,600 rpm and 210 lbs.-ft. of torque @ 4,000 rpm.
We should pimp out the wagon!!!

STX... Its got three Amps that push out 650 watts of total system power to the seven McIntosh speakers... pretty cool huh?
P.S they have put old VU meters that dont really server a function "they are functional though" just for a coolness factor. Im glad you brought up this fun little "thing"

Same engine as your mom's car huh....
So, on a completely unrelated topic, how much does an eaton supercharger go for?

H6 in an Impreza?
I don't think it would fit in the engine bay without some firewall or other engine bay mods. its not wider but it is a longer block. They just added two more cylinders to the front of the engine (or back depending on how you look at it). Then again I have seen a Viper V-10 crammed into a Jeep wrangler so I guess anything is possible. The question is...is it worth it? I'd rather swap in an EJ20 or 22 turbo.

to answer your question, the H6 will physically fit, but will not wire in. also, you will lose all of you low end, and it will handle like a boat....now....about that supercharger....i'm interested in a price. will it drop in a MY 97 Legacy GT sedan (EJ25 DOHC)

Tha H6 is only 100 pounds more than your 2.5 thats less than a tank of gas.Just get stiffer springs. As far as low end turque you'll get more from the H6 the 2.5,The hard part is finding an H6 at a reasonable price.I have a 98GT and would love to put one in my car.
