But the temperature gages reads at the 2nd top marker when driving, I have changed the radiator, thermostat ,sensor and now the gage still reads the same after spending $500.00, can you please help. Regards Chris Whittaker Obe1conobe@bigpond.com skyr31 01-11-2002, 02:25 AM Gday Im sorry to hear that you are having troubles mate, This may seem like a silly question but have you checked your gauge?? It may be faulty. Other than that Iyt could be something serious like a blown head gasket. Slip 01-12-2002, 03:00 AM Uh oh. Did you get the cooling system powerflushed by a radiator place? That could be the problem. Maybe the gauge is just fucked and the car is fine. You have to undo the 10mm bolt on the intake plenum and do it back up when water is coming out of it, when you refil the coolant. If you didnt do this that may be it. Powerflush - if it still does it then....bah. MIC 80 01-13-2002, 03:23 AM   Hay chris got some good info for you Red Devil in QLD do a 3 core radiator for $700 it is your best bet + also get your gauge checked or go and get your self an aftermarket gauge, I have a R31 GTS-X & have had the same problems. MIC 80 01-15-2002, 05:29 AM Yeah Slip thats me Seņor Deanodriver 11-10-2002, 06:45 AM the gauge could be faulty, I kind of reckon the one in my car (R31 Pintara) is, cos it always stays at about 30%, even when giving it a good thrashing.
