96 jetta trek

can someone tell me where is locate the fuel filter in a 96 jetta , and also I need to change the brake pads (turn rotors?) .
I have never touched a Jetta before, is there anything special about the brake system that I need to be aware of?
Thanks in advance!

Re: 96 jetta trek

Fuel filter is located at the rear of the car on the passenger side, immediately after the gas tank.
The break system I need to know what type of model GLX, GLS, GL, etc. since there is variety of breaking systems. If you have worked on brakes b-fore then you should have no problem, the only thing is that pads are a bit expensive is your car uses the type of pad that has a sensor in it. Good Luck.
